a) What qualities of your magazine cover make it effective? (eg. What makes it eye catching?, What about it promotes curiosity?, How is it visually pleasing?, What makes it easy to understand?)

the eye catching things about my mag is the BOLD writing and BIIIGGG soo people wanna read wat i wrote.. it was hard tryna keep the writing in areas with little detail so that the words dont completly vanish into like my bangles or something n u can hardly read wat im tryna write. i think what promotes my readers curiosity is not revealing to much information but just enough like ‘10 things he will love’. people will wonder like whos gonna love what n how they can make that person happy. the first person thier gonna think of is thier man n so thier gonna wanna know how 2 make em love ‘it’ lol its visually pleasing cus im on it.. duhh.. nahh i liedd its pleasing cus the colours r cordinated n very easy to read. easy to understand cus i think i already said this but the colours dont blend in with its surroundings so everything is easily accesable to the eyeball

b) What was the order of hierarchy you were trying to achieve for the elements on your magazine cover?

1. MEE =/

2. MY CLOTHES

3. THE FEATURED STORIES

..was it working ? =]

1. What combination of tools did you use to isolate the fruit in “fruit_combo.jpg” and where in the image did you use which tool?

I isolated the bown in combo with manetic lasso and the free hand lasso and the magic wand.

Which method did you find most effective in this case?

The magentic lasso was the most effective no doubt.

3. Experiment with the following:
After you make a selection in the menu and go to
a) Select > Modify > Expand

it changes the pixel size and it makes the picture bigger or smaller
b) Select > Modify > Contract

the bowl changes sizes with the dpi

c) Select > Feather

it blends the details and makes it look smoother and kind of realistic

What do these do? Post a fourth image indicating that you know what feathering does.

1) Will a 300 dpi image or a 72 dpi image be clearer when printed out at the same size? How come?

any image used with 300 dpi would bemuch clearer compared to the other one because the dpi( dots per inch ) is greater so the details are more defined

2) What would a picture created at 1 dpi look like?

Details would not be as nicely presented as a picture with higher resolution
